Winny is a budget cordless pool robot brand. We tested the 200SE in our pool to see how it stacks up against the competition — here's what we found.
The Winny 200SE is one of the cheapest cordless pool robots on the market — and in our testing, that low price came with serious trade-offs. Weak suction, poor filtration, limited battery life, and questionable build quality. It did not earn a Pool Nerd Approved rating. For a similar price, you can find corded robots that dramatically outperform it in every category.
Our hands-on review of the Winny 200SE after real-world pool testing.
For similar or lower prices, these robots outperformed the Winny 200SE in our testing.
In our testing, the Winny 200SE didn't meet our standards. Weak suction, limited battery life, and basic filtration meant it struggled with real-world pool conditions. Being cheap is about the only thing it had going for it.
The Dolphin Escape is the most affordable Dolphin with MaxBin and an optional NanoFilter. The Dolphin Cayman adds wall climbing and a weekly timer. Both dramatically outperform the Winny in our testing.
In our experience, no. Budget cordless robots consistently underperform in suction, battery life, and filtration. A budget corded robot will deliver better results for years. See our corded vs cordless comparison.
Winny is a lesser-known brand in the pool robot space. The 200SE is their primary offering and it didn't perform well in our testing. We recommend sticking with established brands like Dolphin that have proven track records and better warranty support.
